The Dog Bingo was a delight to participate in. For the first time in ages I was laughing during the session and felt it was beneficial to my health and wellbeing.

Participants can’t wait for the next session and they love the fact that it’s the dog that picks the bingo balls. It’s a real boost of positivity in the day.

When the bingo session is over, and Billy goes, the conversations that ensues is always positive and upbeat. Carers have fed back that it changes the mood of people living with dementia, they are not so agitated, lethargic, angry. This change helps the carers find a bit of head space and calms them down in what could have been a volatile situation prior to the doggy sessions.
